archatlas: Anna Gibb Drawings to Make Sense of the World Anna Gibb, an architect by day, loves to draw by hand. Since developing a passion for drawing 8 years ago, Anna has lived in Aberdeen, Florence, Melbourne, Glasgow, and in London for the past year. Her highly detailed, idiosyncratic urban landscapes are inspired by a love of architecture, context and history. Cities can be daunting. The sense of insignificance, in the bustling energy of a city, can be isolating. Anna embraces this and reinterprets it through her unique style of drawing. The drawings are a reflection of her view of a place, often transcending both history and geography. Drawings can become a personal reflection of your surroundings, a way of understanding the world around you. This exhibition hopes to inspire visitors to find new ways of understanding their surroundings. Text via (via archatlas)
