To mark 10 years since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, we asked survivors across generations to write letters to future survivors about healing and moving forward.
My name is Jackie Hegarty and I am a survivor of the Sandy Hook shooting from 2012.
The permanent memorial opened in November ahead of the 10-year anniversary.
