Israel at war with Hamas terrorists: Death toll mounts on both sides of battle
Hamas launched an unprecedented incursion from air, land and sea on Saturday, Israeli authorities said. The Israel Defense Forces has since declared "a state of alert for war" and launched retaliatory airstrikes on Gaza.
"Israel is at war," said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Hundreds have been killed and the death toll is climbing.
Hezbollah has been designated a terrorist organization by multiple countries.
