Dallas rapper Yella Beezy, best known for his hit song ‘That's On Me,’ has been arrested in connection with the 2020 shooting death of fellow rapper MO3. The 33-year-old, born Markies Conway, was taken into custody after a grand jury indicted him on a charge of capital murder while remuneration. Prosecutors allege that Beezy hired Kewon White to carry out the killing in exchange for payment. MO3, born Melvin Noble, was fatally shot on a Dallas highway after being chased by White, who also wounded an innocent bystander. White was arrested a month later and is currently serving a nine-year sentence for firearm charges related to the case. Beezy, who rose to fame with his 2017 mixtape Lite Work, Vol. 2, has collaborated with major artists such as Chris Brown, Young Thug, and Gunna.
