Piercing Eyes

Its Friday! My weeks photography has been aimed at getting the best shot I can of a Black Crake. These little birds must drink a lot of red bull because they don't stay still for a second! Nipping between the reads and rocks at full speed. This meant the age old technique of picking a spot to lie under a sheet of plastic for 3 hours every afternoon.. in high 30 degree centigrade temperatures.. Hoping for the best. Thankful it wasn't all for nothing and I managed to get a hand full of shots I am very happy with. Hope you enjoy this first shot.
