Love Locks Removed From Pont des Arts Bridge in Paris: Pictures

Padlocks are seen hanging on the Pont des Arts bridge, Monday in Paris. The accumulation of 'love locks', where couples attach a lock to symbolize their love on the sides of the bridge posed safety problems, because of their mass weight. Artwork will provisionally be installed on the railings until glass panes have been fitted along the bridge. Geoffroy Van der Hasselt/Anadolu Agency/Getty Images
