Roll the thighs outward, kneecaps facing the ceiling. 2) Walk your hands forward while keeping the spine long. 3) Keep pressing the thigh bones back as you lengthen the torso forward. 4) If needed, place a blanket or block under your sit bones to encourage a greater hinge at the hips and deeper stretch in the hamstrings. Sometimes the simplest poses are the best ones. Ahhhh Child pose is definitely one of my favorite poses. I have no shame going to this pose whenever I'm tired. I've attended plenty of classes and trust me, my ass goes to this pose every time those knees get weak in warrior poses 😂. I've noticed with many of my students, that sometimes they let their pride and ego get the best of them. They will overwork their bodies, lose balance, and not enjoy their practice because they're not listening to what their bodies needs. If you're body is telling to rest, then do just that. Your yoga practice should be a gift to yourself, you should feel happy, rejuvenated and amazing afterwards. Always remind yourself that it's your practice and you shouldn't compare yourself to others. Look at people for inspiration and motivation and not be discouraged with what you see. Be happy with yourself and your practice.
