A Beauty Advisor at Pharmacy. One of her responsibilities is to clean the restrooms at the Pharmacy. Today she was stuck by a needle twice, while cleaning out the restrooms garbage (finding needles is common) . Immediately she reported the incident to the pharmacy. They referred her to go to a Hospital immediately (after Paramedics were called and said she had to go to the Hospital) to get blood work done. Once at the Hospital, she was put under a chemotherapy drug to combat the possibility of HIV, Hepatitis B or C. The Hospital labeled her by her discharge paperwork, as a HealthCare Worker. I assume she is not a Health CareWorker as she is a Beauty Advisor and Cashier at Pharmacy. What is the company's responsibility in this matter? She was not informed she would go under chemotherapy.
