"After the storm... I look up"

Photo by @haarbergphoto (Erlend Haarberg) The #Arctic fox population has drastically decreased in #Norway in the last decades, therefore reintroductions have taken place in various locations. Last week I was photographing in the #Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park, when I met this individual. It was storm in the mountains, and both the #fox and I had to work hard to keep our balance in the strong wind. @thephotosociety #nature #naturephotography

Japan’s Nuclear Power Plant Belt: A scene of woods in the extremely depopulating Shimokita Peninsula, the most Northern area in Japan’s main land Honshu. The peninsula has many nuclear power plant related facilities. The areas of Japan’s nuclear power plant belt are all located in the countryside. In the reactor belt and nearby, we can see the real problems of current Japan – the drastic depopulation of the countryside and the shrinking of nearly all industries. In these environments, the Japanese local authorities and people still support for nuclear reactors somehow, although the majority of Japan oppose. Now, due to the experience of Fukushima’s 2011 disaster, Japan’s more than 50 reactors are all suspended or closed, but the Japanese government seemingly wants to resume. #remote_area #nuclear_power_plant_belt #genpatsu_belt #woods #shimokita_peninsula #aomori #iphoneonly #photodocumentary #latergram
