Protein Broccoli Bread by Fitness recipes Note: Very easy and quick, low cal, <1g carbs, high protein, low fat Ingredients (1 bread = 15 slices): 110 g protein powder (I used 50 g pea protein, 30 g casein and 30 g whey, all natural flavors) These different protein powder have all their benefits in cooking. You can change it with other protein powders or use just one. Using only whey will probably make it spongy. Texture and flavor depends on the kind and brand of protein you use. 120 g egg whites (+- 5 egg whites) 2 eggs 200 g cooked / steamed broccoli (drained) Spices and flavors: Depends if you want a sweet or savory bread. Add flavors like chocolate, almond, vanilla ,… for a sweet bread. Add spices like fresh black pepper, chilli,… for a savory bread. Directions: Put all ingredients in a blender and blend for a few minutes. Pour the mixture in a silicon cake mold. Put in a pre-heated oven for 40 minutes at 160°C. Nutritionals facts (1 slice): Energy: 48 cal Protein: 9 g Carbohydrates: 0.5 g (sugar 0.3 g) Fat: 1.5 g (saturated 0.2 g) Fiber: 0.8 g Enjoy!
