Venus from Space Station: Astronaut Terry Virts aboard the International Space Station snapped this image and wrote, "Venus sits on the background of the Earth's atmosphere." Virts worked on medical science Wednesday morning and later set up commercial research gear for an experiment to be delivered on the next SpaceX mission, which is scheduled to launch Dec. 16.
