    Into Full Sunlight:

Here's a taster on this new novel by Tom Rubens.
Tom, like so many writers has had a burning desire to write and become an author for mainly philosophical works. His main interests are in the developing relationships between a growing young man and the blossoming romance with a young student more sexually advanced.

Have a little read - we would love to know your thoughts - and if by any chance you would like to get a copy on Amazon's link below: We are planning to do an Introductory offer - (just as soon as Amazon have given us the go-ahead)

We would really appreciate your kindness if you could leave a few short lines about whether or not you enjoyed reading it.

    Chapter One :

As he lowered his head to the pillow and quickly glanced through the window at the now earlier-coming darkness, Richard knew that, before sleep reached him, he would make guesses about the following day. And why shouldn't he, he asked himself? After all, here he was, at the start of September, about to begin his sixth year at secondary school, when each of the five years now gone by had been full of things to remember, both good and bad? There was no reason to think that this new year would not be the same different-tasting mixture of ups and downs: a mixture that was so unlike those mainly easy days at primary school, but one which he'd learned to get used to, ever since he's entered the very wide playground—so much bigger than the one at primary—on that sun-strong day in September 1956.
But, as he pulled the bed-sheet and covering blanket up as far as his chin, he had a new thought. Did things really have to go on being that mixture? Was there nothing he could do to get more control over what was happening to and around him? There must be. After all, this was 1961, not 1956. He felt he now had a kind of strength given him by the sheer passing of time: strength he must use, to make the kind of impression on people he'd never made before.
With this thought, he now felt his eyelids getting heavier; and he found himself turning his head to his favourite side of the pillow: the right side. Soon, there were no other thoughts.

Richard opened his eyes to full daylight, with the firm feeling that, from now on, things were definitely going to be different. He glanced at his new blazer, with its Sixth Form insignia
