For the past two years, London-based photographer Paul Thompson has been soaking in the rays of that cold-hearted orb that rules the night for his series “Moonlighting.” Shot on large-format film, the images of weakly illuminated landscapes and seascapes take up to two hours to expose, notes Creative Boom. Each photograph is therefore a representation of time and movement, where light, clouds and water shift and stir, leaving viewers to contemplate the magic of the night.
