Nathan Chacon, 45, drives his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado into the lobby of a police station in Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, USA, on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023. A dramatic surveillance camera video shows the moment a man from the USA purposely drives his pickup truck inside a police department's lobby to get attention. Nathan David Chacon, 45, was arrested after he intentionally slammed his silver 2007 Chevrolet Silverado into the Grand Junction Police Department in Colorado, USA. It is unclear what his grievance was that he felt was not getting properly dealt with when he decided to take drastic action at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, 25th January 2023. Internal CCTV footage shows the moment Chacon completely demolishes the police department's lobby before a confused cop approaches and pulls a gun on him. The 45-year-old man then gets out of the truck and complies without resistance when the officer asks him to put his hands up in the air. As the cop holds Chacon at gunpoint, he then lays flat on the floor before a group of officers arrives at the lobby and arrest him. Damages were estimated to be somewhere between USD 100,000 (GBP 80,671) and USD 1,000,000 (GBP 806,710).
