I'll try and upload a recent (unseen) image each day to this page for the next few weeks, to help build up a following. Today's image is subsequent frame to a well known shot of mine from December of the Kittiwake wreck in Grand Cayman. While I was in the middle of setting up a photo with a diver posing on the seabed, this school of horse eye jacks swam through my frame. Within a couple of seconds, I was able to squeeze off a couple of shots with jacks, diver and wreck. But soon had to recompose to shoot just the jacks and wreck. Which I still think is very attractive scene, with atmospheric lighting. I love shooting the Kittiwake, because she is shallow and yet offers so many different photographic opportunities. On my Grand Cayman workshops we've started calling her the wreck of a 1000 faces, because everyone is able to find a new angle to show her from. This was taken with my Nikon D4, Nikon 16mm fisheye. Subal housing, Zen 230 dome. Seacam strobes. Please feel free to share, but please respect my copyright.
