Clarence Boyd III has had a long and impressive career in the food service industry. He has expertly led Down Home Southern Kitchen, one of the premier caterers in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, and served guests through his independent ventures before that. Boyd's history within the industry dates back long before joining Down Home Southern Kitchen. Specializing in corporate events, he and his staff also catered weddings and private parties to accommodate a range of clients, including local sororities, fraternities, and fundraisers. Not only a successful business mogul, but Boyd is also a graduate of Louisiana State University. This university was established in 1860 under the Louisiana State Seminary of Learning & Military Academy. It is in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and proudly honors Boyd's degree within its campus walls.
