Mom's Homemade Super Laundry Sauce One Single tablespoon does a whole load of wash! Here is an amazingly simple Do It Yourself detergent that doesn't leave any residue on clothing, gets nearly every stain known to man out the first time around and smells clean and fresh- oh and did I mention that it costs about $1.76 for 128 loads of laundry? Since our teen son started working at a fast food restaurant, this has become our most-loved detergent recipe. His clothing was so saturated with heavy french fry and onion ring grease scent that even washing them in TIDE didn't take out the horrendous smell. I whipped up a half gallon of this detergent and washed his clothes while he was at school- he thought I'd gotten a new shirt from his boss at work! First time EVER that ALL of the smell finally came out of his clothes, without further à deux - here is my Super Laundry Sauce recipe! Safe for HE machines. ~ This makes 1/2 Gallon of concentrate ~ ~ Btw, that's a full 128 loads of laundry!! ~ 1 bar Fels Naptha (Yes, the ENTIRE Bar!) 1 cup 20 Mule Team Borax 1 cup Arm & Hammer Washing Soda (NOT BAKING SODA!!) 4 cups of hot water All ingredients can be found here: Fels Naptha Soap: http://amzn.to/18yoJOQ Washing Soda: http://amzn.to/13otxs4 Borax: http://amzn.to/1dbvpWS http://bit.ly/T38J48

So you have a ton of fresh herbs, and youre not sure what to do with them.....How about making frozen Olive Oil/Herb cubes?? Its easy, as you see from the photo. These cubes can be added to dishes you are preparing, so you can specialize them by adding garlic, maybe the combination of whatever you like to use to spice with. This way, you wont have to deal with spices, just toss cubes into your recipes.

How to Clean a Crusty, Rusty Cast Iron Skillet Sanctuary Materials Raw potato Kosher salt Cooking Oil Directions 1. Set your cast iron skillet in the sink and sprinkle a teaspoon or two of Kosher salt in the bottom. 2. Slice off the top of a raw potato. Make sure to leave enough of the potato so you can grab it easily. Use the cut end of your potato to scour the skillet, grinding the salt into any rusty or crusty spots. As you work, rinse off the skillet (and rust!) and add more salt if it requires more scrubbing. 3. Once all of the rust has vanished (Yay!), dry your skillet with a clean towel. 4. If you don’t need to re-season your skillet, just add a few drops of oil to its surface. You can be a tad heavy handed with the oil, as it will mostly just absorb. Rub the oil into your skillet’s surface, that way it’s ready to go for you next cooking adventure. Caring for your skillet Never, ever, ever wash your skillet with soap again. Don’t even let a drop near it. The soap will wear off your fresh coating of oil and it will likely make your next meal taste a tad sudsy. After you finish cooking with your skillet, immediately rinse it out to remove any burned on bits. If you need more scrubbing, let it cool, and then use salt and a coarse scrubbing pad to get rid of any burned bits. Don’t let your skillet soak for long periods of time, and never put it in the dishwasher. Or buy new here: http://tinyurl.com/5-Piece-Cast-Iron-Cookware-Set More: http://bit.ly/P3yFWt

For small jobs I use this. 4. Store in an airtight container until ready to use. Green 1. Wash then dry well a bunch of spinach. Remove stems and place on dehydrator sheet. 2. Set temperature to 150′ and dehydrate until crispy. 3. Allow to cool then remove and pulse in blender. For small jobs I use this. 4. Store in an airtight container until ready to use. Brown 1. Use cocoa powder. *These are made from real food and therefore can impart flavor to your icing if used in large quantities. I tested them on my kiddies cuz kids will tell you the truth. They really liked the squash, carrot, beet and chocolate (they said they were sweet and I have to agree). The spinach is best for a mild green color. *Because these are dehydrated, they will store in a cabinet for up to a year. http://tinyurl.com/oar9apb
