So what are CCTV systems? CCTV stands for Closed Circuit Television is a system that allows people to monitor and keep an eye on your home and business. Installed cameras and monitors allow the recording of live events and recorders archive the footage for later viewing. A CCTV monitor isn’t an ordinary TV and doesn’t receive publicly broadcasted video content, only recorded footage from the home security cameras and monitors.
