Lemon Ginger Turmeric shot! There's a reason this is in shot form. It can be consumed quick & if you've ever had straight lemon juice, ginger or even turmeric you wouldn't want to sip it. I woke up this morning more congested than normal. As I was perusing facebook I saw a friend's post for a lemon ginger shot. Which inspired me to make one since I'd like this congestion to go away & these 3 ingredients have amazing healing qualities. 1 whole lemon 1 thumb sized chunk of ginger 1 Teaspoons of turmeric powder or fresh root You don't need a juicer to make this shot. Actually I would recommend chopping the ginger & placing it with a small amount of water in a high speed blender or food processor to make a ginger liquid & use it that way. No need to peel the ginger. It takes quite a bit of ginger to get juice when using a juicer. Also I used a shaker in the end to mix the turmeric powder. It worked great. DISCLAIMER: turmeric will discolor surfaces it comes in contact with, like my kitchen counter & my skin...lol
