Family compound on Honeymoon Island near Saranac Lake, New York.
Writes contributor Mary Newman:
My grandfather Verdo Newman bought this island in the 1930’s, and it has remained in my family ever since. It is located on the waterway connecting Lake Flower with Kiwassa Lake, and Lower Saranac Lake. It holds a main cabin, boathouse, and lean-to on the back side of the island.
